Al Fanar Group is Oman’s exclusive dealer for Grohe — one of the world’s leading premium bathroom and kitchen fitting brands — with showrooms across Muscat, Sohar, Nizwa and Muscat City Centre. When Qrenzy took over the digital marketing operations, the website had accumulated years of technical debt, zero organic visibility and 137,000 spam comments buried in the database. Eight weeks later, the brand was appearing in AI-generated answers on ChatGPT and Perplexity, ranking in the Google Maps Top 3 and generating consistent organic traffic for the first time in its online history.
Project Overview
Al Fanar Group approached Qrenzy with a clear challenge — a live website that was functionally invisible online. Despite being the exclusive Grohe dealer in Oman with four physical showrooms, the business had no Google Search Console setup, no analytics tracking, no keyword rankings and a database so polluted with spam that it was affecting site performance.
The brief was to build a complete digital foundation — technical cleanup, SEO infrastructure, Google Business Profile optimization across all four locations and content strategy — and to make Al Fanar Group findable both in traditional Google search and the emerging AI search platforms where purchasing decisions are increasingly being researched.
What We Did
Technical SEO Audit & Cleanup A comprehensive technical audit identified the 137,000 spam comments as the primary performance issue — removed entirely via database optimization. Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 were connected for the first time, establishing baseline tracking. Microsoft Clarity was added for heatmap and session recording data. Robots.txt, XML sitemaps and canonical tags were configured correctly across all pages.
Keyword Research & On-Page Optimization Identified 50+ target keywords across 18 core pages — covering Grohe product categories, competitor terms and Oman-specific local search queries. Meta titles, descriptions, H1 tags, image alt text and internal linking were optimized across the entire website. Schema markup — including Local Business, Product, FAQ Page, Breadcrumb List and Organization — was implemented across 7 schema types.
Google Business Profile Optimization — 4 Locations Complete bilingual (English and Arabic) optimization of all four Al Fanar showroom GBP listings — Muscat, Sohar, Nizwa and Muscat City Centre. Category selection, business descriptions, photo uploads, Q&A sections and regular posts were configured and maintained for each location, targeting location-specific search queries across the Oman market.
Content Strategy & Blog Development Published high-value content targeting Grohe product searches, interior design queries and bathroom renovation topics relevant to the Oman market. Content strategy focused on building topical authority around Grohe plumbing, kitchen fittings and bathroom solutions — the core product areas where Al Fanar holds exclusive dealership rights.
Link Building 15 quality backlinks acquired across Web 2.0 properties, business directories and relevant industry publications — building the domain authority foundation required for sustained ranking improvement.
AI Search Visibility (GEO) Implemented Generative Engine Optimization — structured data, FAQ schema, authoritative content depth and entity signals — specifically to trigger citation in AI-generated answers. Al Fanar Group now appears in ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews responses for key Oman product searches including “Grohe dealer in Oman” and “exclusive Grohe supplier Muscat.”
Social Media Strategy Developed an Instagram growth strategy targeting 20,000 followers, with a content calendar built around Grohe products, interior design inspiration and Oman showroom events. SocialBee was implemented for scheduling across 10 social profiles.
